LENT SCHEDULE
Feb 19, 2021
Dear Parishioners:
Lent is here, a special time and season for spiritual growth not limited to fasting and abstaining on Fridays (18 to 60 years old). Below are more information pertaining to the Lent schedules and events to help you in this Lenten journey.
The Way of the Cross
Please join us for the Way of the Cross this Friday, February 19, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. and succeeding Fridays in the next 6 weeks. Remember to come 15 to 20 minutes early and follow the ushers' directions. Sign ups are not necessary. For those at the church, we will have a projector for you to follow. Livestream participants may download the Way of the Cross During the Pandemic from our website.
Mass Schedule
On Saturday, February 20, 2021 we will begin the Vigil Mass at 5:30 P.M. Sign ups are required through Guia Gorospe at (510) 734-9289. Please call Monday thru Friday between 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. to reserve your seat. We can only accommodate 25% capacity of the church (as required by the county), which is equivalent to 45 people.
As mentioned before, Sunday masses are at 8:00 A.M. and 10:00 A.M. with the latter mass having a Rosary devotional prayer at 9:30 A.M. Both the rosary and the 10:00 A.M. mass are live stream for those who cannot attend.
Communion
Communion is available after the Sunday, 10:00 A.M. mass up to 12:00 P.M. Since daily mass (Monday thru Saturday 9:00 A.M.) is open, there will no longer be communion after mass.
Confession Schedule
Confession times remain the same on Saturdays at 4:00 to 4:45 P.M. for February 20, 27, and March 6. The following 3 Saturdays, March 13, 20 and 27, confessions will be extended from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. with another priest available. This is to replace the Communal Penance Service, which is still pending due to the pandemic. So, please make sure to avail of this opportunity to receive the mercy and forgiveness of God.
Lenten Reflection Videos
Lenten Reflection videos will be posted on our website to inspire you this Lent Season. There will be 6 different video recordings from parishioners that will be posted each Sunday at 3:00 P.M.

Stay safe and healthy,
