04/02/21: Farewell Message from Father Jimmy
Dear parishioners of St. Callistus,
Happy Easter to all of you.
If anyone wonders if Fr. Jimmy is still here, yes, he is! He doesn’t feel like leaving you!
As I told you in December, I have been wanting to leave for India in January itself. But Covid has kept me here until now. But, by God’s grace, I can go now. So I will leave next Wednesday, April 7.
Once again, I thank you most sincerely for all the immense love and goodwill you have shown me during my time at St. Callistus. You have been amazing; I could not have asked for more.
Only one thing I ask of you: that is, to kindly keep me in prayers. I need that. Especially, God willing, as I am going to complete 50 years of priesthood next December. (I will have some celebration for the 50th. I invite you all for it now itself).
I love you, each and everyone of you; I will never forget you; we have become part of each other.
Hopefully, I will see at least many of you this Sunday when you come for Mass/Holy Communion.
Hasta la vista.
Fr. Jimmy Thottapally
