APRIL 4, 2021 EASTER SUNDAY
Christ is risen!
Christ is alive!
Glory to God! Alleluia!Alleluia!
Today we all have the reasons to be happy, to rejoice and to smile because Jesus has risen from the dead. This is the good news of our faith. If Christ had not risen from the dead our faith will be useless. If Christ had not resurrected our suffering would be without meaning; our belief in God would be for nothing; our love would be fruitless; and our death would be in vain. St Paul writes, “if Christ has not been raised then our preaching is useless and your believing is useless.”
Since Christ has risen, the challenge for us now is to live this resurrection in our daily life because if not then Christ is still dead. His resurrection is useless. How can we live this resurrection?
By means of our love for one another.
Someone said, “Love is stronger than death! The greatest is love! The greatest one is the one who loves the most!”
Let us live in love, for love and with love. Easter is a feast of love and only those who love will see the glory of the Risen Christ. Amen.
Wishing you all a Happy Easter! Wishing you all strength and courage in whatever trials, and hope and joy in whatever problems you are going through in this pandemic; but most of all, peace and love in your hearts and in your homes, families and beyond. Fresh start, new beginnings. Thank God for Easter. Thank God for hope and meaning. Thank God for eternal life. Thank God for His great Love for all of us! Amen.
